Kickin’ Our Butts
For the last couple of days or so Shaina and I have been getting back into exercising. It’s about time plus we want to lose some weight. Well, she wants to lose the tiny bit of baby weight she has on her and I need to lose weight to have a baby and be healthy altogether.
Anyway, we started with Walk Away the Pounds which we both agree we like. It’s fun and more challenging than it looks.
Today we stepped it up when I had the bright idea to try out an exercise DVD that is by Jillian Michael’s called The 30 Day Shred. Wow. Wow. Wow.
This workout kicks your butt on just level 1. You’re supposed to do level 1 for 10 days, level 2 for 10 days and level 3 for 10 days. By the end of the total 30 days you should lose about 20 pounds with diet as well.
I believe this will happen. It’s so insane how much she really kicks you into gear. I loved it though. Not a minute of rest. If you were to rest she says you can only rest for 5 seconds.
I wanted to rest after 5 seconds of doing it! We were both pretty sore right after doing it. I can just imagine what waking up tomorrow is going to be like!
It’s so going to be worth it though!
