My pretty kitty

Trinity, Happy.

Trinity is my beautiful cat. There is no denying that she is gorgeous.

Of course if you do deny it you will have to answer to her. You don’t want that!

Trinity is about 9 years old. Wow. I can’t believe that! I had to think about it. She may be 9 years old but this girl has got the attitude of when she was just a couple months.

9 years ago I wanted a cat really bad. We went to the SPCA and looked at free cats, but none of them were good enough. So, one day I noticed that our neighbors at the time (in California) had gotten a new kitten. I was a bit jealous but what can you do?

Now, since I was a little jealous I spied on them with the kitten a lot. I noticed they tied this kitten up to a tree outside. Can you imagine tying a cat to a tree? It’s not a dog that you put on a line to go to the bathroom! It’s a cat, they wander, they run, they are independent!

One day my little sister who was about 11 at the time brought the cat into the house. Their kitten had gotten free and crawled under our fence into our yard. Thankfully the dogs at the time weren’t out there because the male was known for killing small animals.

Anyway, she brought her in and said she found it. Instantly I asked my mom if I could keep her. Of course she said yes.

Finally! I had a cat! She was gorgeous and playful as well!

It was fate! She came to our yard to be saved from those jerks and into our lives! Boy did we not know this lady had attitude. She had so much attitude that she had most of the people in my family terrified of her!

You would walk by her and she would claw you, get too close to her and she would claw you, look at her wrong..yep, claws! A couple years later I got her spayed and she was fine.

Now she is content to jump in the place where I am going to take pictures of my cupcakes and pretend she doesn’t hear me when I’m telling her to  move.

She still struts her stuff and will smack you when she sees you walking out of line. She’ll take you on.

She’s one bad motha…but she’s my pretty kitty.
