Although we just found out we’re pregnant not too long ago, we figured that the next 8 months are going to fly by and before we know it I’ll be screaming in labor pains!

So the best thing we can do is to begin looking at things to purchase and making the purchases each month. Before we actually got pregnant we had decided that we will be doing cloth diapers as it is better for the baby’s butt, easier on us and our wallets, and also green.

So we’ve been looking at different cloth diaper brands, reviews, and such and I’ve got some idea about which we’ll be looking at buying. We’re budgeting some money every month to begin our diaper collection up. Of course that means we won’t be getting our plasma mounts anytime soon, but there will be plenty of time for that later.

We have it narrowed down between two different cribs that we want. They are both 4 in 1′s and one is in walnut while the other is black. I’m leaning towards more the black one and I think Jamie is as well. When you convert it to the toddler bed then it comes with the rail. Also, it is a spring bottom and not an MDF so it is softer for the baby. The mattress is only going to be $40. So the most the crib will be is about $250 we figure. Not bad.

Of course we have a bucket load of boy clothing if we happen to have a boy. A lot of that clothing is neutral so if we have a girl then we will still have a good starting amount. We want a changing table as well and some dresser for the diapers/baby clothing and such.

A lot of things to plan but it is going to be so worth it. We definitely can’t wait!
