Duck's tank remodel ideas

This morning while I was battling a bad case of indigestion (took two Tagamets to get rid of it) I was looking up Florida Soft Shelled turtles. My sister kept saying that my turtle (whose name is Duck) could probably eat liver but I wasn't sure. I've only been giving him some little floating sticks from Reptomin. Turns out there is an entire forum for reptile's and turtles (no surprise, it is the internet after all). I learned a lot of stuff from this site.

In fact, earlier I was thinking about replacing my tanks gravel with better rocks but after reading everything on that site I have decided to replace it with sand. You can use the play sand from Lowe's and rinse it really really well and it works good. I guess it is cleaner than gravel. Of course I will probably buy the bigger rocks just to break up the monotony of the sand for him and the fish. I also am looking into getting a basking thing that can adjust itself to the water level. He'll enjoy that. I also got some ideas on things to get him. Later today instead of office furniture I am going to do price checks on everything that I will need to redo his tank. Since I have to buy a filter all over again even though I bought one a month ago. Stupid whisper.
