I was checking out the local news for Indiana. I don't watch the news very often so I don't know what is going on very much. There is one bit of news that is terribly sad and horrible. A 20 year old woman was murdered by her boyfriend on April 10. Not just murdered though, dismembered, burned, and scattered across Indianapolis. Here is a bit from the article:
Bean has confessed to killing Heather Norris, 20, according to police. Deputy prosecutor Barbara Trathen said outside court that Bean had admitted to stabbing Norris, setting fire to the body, buying a chainsaw and dismembering her, and then disposing of it in trash bins across Indianapolis' Southside.
How could anyone do this to someone else? Someone they are suppose to love? To top it off, he gets on her Myspace page and posts a blog on April 17. Seven days after he murdered her.

Just...Wow.
Summertime Means Vacations!
Every family knows what the real meaning of summer is. At least our family does. Vacation time! Where ever you go, be it the beach, Disneyland, New York, wherever, comfort is key! Closely followed by fun of course!
A dream of mine is to be able to go anywhere and still feel at home. I've recently seen some fantastic vacation rentals that are available in a number of different spots. Everywhere imaginable actually. Some are more like dream homes where you can pretend it's yours, others remind me of my home.
Of course, there is no vacation rentals in Indiana. Why? There's nothing to do here! The second place I look is New York. Wow, there are some beautiful houses available. One sits on 57 acres of land. They showed pictures of the land and it is breathtakingly gorgeous.
Didn't they make a movie about Lake Placid? Well you can rent a vacation home there! Neat!

Website Turn Offs
Lately I've been going through other peoples sites just to look at them. I haven't done that in awhile so I figured I would do it. Who knows right? The next site may have a cool feature or a fun Meme it does. Anyway, what has really bugged me lately is the amount of do-dads that people have on their sidebars.
I know I know, who am I to talk? I have too much stuff too. At the same time though, the top of my page where you first see is all links to go about my site, links to the people who link to me and the rotations I'm in. The cluttered looking junk is in the second half, bellow the fold.
I can understand wanting to make money on your website and having ads but why do they insist on having at least 15 on their sidebars? I went to a website yesterday that had so many ads and other things on their sidebars that I couldn't concentrate on the main content of their site.
THIS DOES NOT MAKE YOU MONEY! If anything it will drive your visitors away from your website because it's such a headache to try to read anything. Please be tasteful with your sidebars! If it looks horrid to you it's going to look worse to someone else!!

Credit cards seem to be a dime a dozen in this day in age, wouldn't you agree? With that being said, it is also very hard to find a good credit card with low rates.
Mint Credit Cards have recently lowered their rates and they also have a bunch of perks when you apply for a credit card with them. They start of right now have 0% on balance transfer fees, 0% on purchases before January 1, 2008 and also 0% bonus offer on balances transferred within a certain time frame.
What I think is neat is that they offer you a second card to give to a trustworthy friend or your significant other, or anyone else you want to give it to. They have all the protection that most credit card companies offer currently as well a chip.
This is a very attractive credit card for those in the UK, I believe.

Yay for me
Yesterday after I worked on the website for a bit and put it into a couple of directories, I played MapleStory as usual.
I finally got my little character up to level 90! Yay! 10 levels away from 100 and 30 levels away from 120 which is when I'll be able to get the fourth job that has yet to come out haha
Other than that, nothing unusual went on yesterday. Oh, one of the directories I submitted my blog too denied it. It said it was used for commercial purposes. What the heck!? WHERE??? I make money off of it.. but it's my PERSONAL blog.. not a commercial blog. DID THEY READ IT!?
Made me angry!
