Over the weekend I received an email that our billing account was set up for our dedicated server. We just signed up for this dedicated server on 3/14/2008. There was no set-up fees or anything when we signed up. So, I received this email and went over to the account to check it out. Unbelievable! There is two invoices in there. One is for 3/19-4/19 the other 4/19-5/19. I know I did NOT pay $50 for 4 days of service when we didn't even get the server set up for about 5 days after we had paid.
So, since my husband is the one dealing with the server and everything, this is his area. Thank goodness for them because I would be a lunatic if I had to call them. My husband tried to call them but since it was over the weekend they didn't answer. So he puts in a support ticket. Mind you, you have to sign in to your account in order to do this. This is the response we get:
Thank you for contacting us. It's possible that the payment was received, but hasn't been matched up to your account yet. Can you please give me the payment amount and date? With than information, I can locate the payment faster.
It's POSSIBLE?! IT IS POSSIBLE? Are you kidding me? If the payment wasn't received we would NOT have the server. Shouldn't they be able to look up your payment history?! Ugh. Of course my husband says, "This really isn't such a big deal." Oh okay, you try getting a hundred dollar bill for something that we JUST paid for. Isn't a big deal my ass.
