Infected Loser

Monday is back to rear its ugly head at us again. I am definitely hoping that this Monday won't be one for the books. I worked late last night so I didn't set my alarm this morning and woke up around 9:30. A lot later than I had planned on waking up but I guess that's what I get for not setting my alarm.

Last night though our aquarium filter went out. It died totally this time. Jamie couldn't even fix it because the impeller is totally gone. So, we're going to have to put a rush on our plan of building our own filtration system for Duck and the fish. I guess Sunday night was our Monday thing? Let's hope there is no Monday thing!

Since I have another separate blog for my baking and everything related to it, I have decided that I was going still show them on this website but in an image and with a link to my website Frosted Fantasie. I am also adding a new section to my sidebar which is called 'Cupcake of the Week'. As you can see it will have the recently baked or baked cupcake for that week. I think this weeks turned out pretty well and I didn't have to airbrush it or anything like that. Very nice picture.

I have been thinking a lot about Christmas. I am trying my hardest to be able to have some money to have the gifts I give be really good ones. So of course my thoughts turn to, "If I had the money I would get..." and then it just makes me sad that I do not have the money to get the things that everyone really wants. I suppose you can chalk it up to the old saying of 'wanting builds character' and leave it at that, right? The best thing next to buying something is window shopping. Window shopping is always something fun to do and you can do it all day long if you want to on the internet. Oh, internet, what a lovely thing you are!

Sometimes when you 'window shop' online you can find a lot of great sales going on that you didn't already know about. For instance, I was window shopping for Jamie and a HDTV. Of course he won't get one this year because I don't have close to enough for that. It's good to look though, right?

If I hadn't looked then I wouldn't have known that on Buy.com they have a Samsung 46" 1080p LCD HDTV for $1754.99! I know, it's still a lot but considering that the original price is $2,299 should say something. This is something Jamie has always wanted. He doesn't want it for TV watching..oh no..he wants to use it as a computer monitor! Imagine that! He's so funny.
