Well, Emo is doing better today. He is back to purring and loving up on everyone and anyone. He still has not been drinking or eating. He hasn't gone to the bathroom in the litterbox in my room today either. I'm sure he is just unsure of it all and still probably has one heck of a headache. He took his medicine this morning like a little champ and didn't hold any grudges.
He has been clinging to my husband though, sitting on his lap, rubbing all over him. I think it's love. He's sitting there helping him work right now. His one eye still isn't opening all the way but it does look as if it is opened a little bit more. Lolli doesn't even seem to mind the temporary room mate much.

Concussed Emo & French Toast Cupcakes
So this morning we woke up early and took little Emo to the vet like I said earlier. After the doctor looked at him and the nurse violated him by taking his temperature they came to the conclusion that he has a concussion. They said the head injury would be from something like him getting hit by a car. Yea, that would be feasible if he were an outside cat but he isn't. He was inside, in the kitchen. The vet said that the injury to his head wouldn't happen from getting ran over by a wheelchair or even falling onto his head from the top of the refrigerator. We are quite puzzled what the heck happened to him though. Of course no one was in the kitchen when it happened and there was nothing around him which would hurt him. The vet gave him some antibiotics for the slight fever he was running and said that he would be fine. His eye might not go back to normal but more than likely will. Right now he's doing a lot of sleeping in Jamie's chair with Jamie in it. Thankfully it wasn't something worse but it is just puzzling how this happened.
After we went to the vet, we went to the ER to take Shaina. Turns out she has pink eye. Lovely, right? It's a Monday! Never dull! When we got home I decided that I was going to make cupcakes. I ended up making a French Toast cupcake with cinnamon cream cheese frosting. Click the cupcake to read about it!
