Wanting A New Digital Camera

I really want a new digital camera. I get so jealous seeing everyone else's clear photos and stuff. Our current one is quite old so I've been looking at ones to get an idea on how much and what one I want. So, here is a question, can anyone recommend a good digital camera that takes really really nice photos? At the moment, since I'm basically "window shopping" price doesn't matter!
