I remember going to downtown Sacramento, California where you can use the penny machines to create the smashed pennies. You put the amount it costs in, turn the crank and smash your penny. The ones I remember in Sacramento had a train on it! Kids really love doing these because not only are they smashing something that they may not usually be able to alter, they are also getting something they can play with and remember where they were. The penny machines are all over and I totally recommend getting a smashed penny where ever you can get one and where ever you go! They are a good item to have as memorabilia!

Smashed Pennies
Have you ever went somewhere and noticed that you can smash a penny and make it into an elongated coin? Those machines are fun and give you something that you can remember forever, or as long as you keep the penny!
