There is this new site that I had heard about called Fechr (pronounced feature), which features a different site everyday for a whole 24 hours. They guarantee you 100 hits to your site if your site is their featured site for the day. They are just starting so their service is free as of right now, but as their own readership grows and they are able to provide more hits to a website which is featured then they will begin to charge for their services.
