I was reading the local news on the newspapers website today when I came across this story about a man being killed in a hit and run car. If you want to read the article, click here.
It amazes me how people can do something so horrible and just leave, knowing what they have done. Of course, hitting someone with your vehicle is usually an accident (there are those cases where they aren't). But, how could you hit someone with your car, knowing you have, and just drive off? The man you was killed in this case was actually dragged by the car he was struck with. Dragged for 25 feet. You can't possibly tell me that you can hit someone, drag them 25 feet, and not know what you did. It's horrible what he had to go through for his last moments. How could you live with yourself?
