The trip didn't start off so good though. We got there an hour early like instructed and got our tickets fine. Then we waited and the bus appeared to be late by 40 minutes. A little while after that we find out that the bus had broken down. So we were given an option of either waiting for the next one with the same layovers or catching the one that takes us straight to Chicago in one shot. Bad thing was that it was supposed to get at the Fort Wayne station the same time we SHOULD have been in Chicago. So, we ended up not getting into Chicago around 1130pm. I was a little upset about that because I didn't really want to be walking around Chicago, not knowing where exactly to go (although we did have written direction).
So, the bus trip was pretty good. We got to watch a movie on there. It was Littleman though. I did not want to see that. It had funny points but nothing I would go out of my way to watch for a second time. After that he starts the movie Cars. Why he couldn't play that movie first I don't know.
It took us about an hour to get to the hotel since we walked 2 and some miles there and we were super tired. SO we got checked into the hotel at around 1145 and all was well.
Chicago was actually pretty decent. Their transit system rocks hardcore though. We took the Red Line to the downtown area and hung out there all day on Friday. We walked around the whole thing and did a lot of the tourist type things. Macy's window displays were really pretty. I wish we would have taken a picture of them though. We had Giordano's Pizza for lunch too. Best pizza ever.
