I am really happy that Monday is over with! I don't think I could have taken anymore of it. I haven't had a Monday like that in a really long time. It didn't just end with the car, oh no, it went on. I noticed my turtle (whose name is Duck) was sitting in the same spot all day. He didn't want to eat at all which generally means it is too cold. So, I asked Jamie, and he told me to check the heater in the tank. Just as he suspected, it wasn't working. It was plugged up but on the fritz. Great! So, I came upstairs after that and bought a tank heater on Ebay. Wasn't a bad deal, only $22 with free shipping. I hope the seller ships super fast because I need it like yesterday. So yesterday cost us about $40 between the car and the fish tank.
Oh but some good news that we woke up to...the water thawed out this morning! We have running water again, yay! I'm excited about that!
