Holy pooballs!

It was just three days ago that I wrote about being number three in the personal diary section at Entrecard. My sister came running upstairs to my room at about one in the morning and told me I was the first one in personal diary now. FIRST! She said that I better that a screen shot of it.

At 1 in the morning I was getting ready to just take a shower and sleep so I said that I would forget about it and didn't need a screenie of it. I woke up this morning and am still in the first slot! I can assure not for long but I took a screen shot of it this time and am super excited!

So, again, thank you to everyone that's been dropping on me!

Alexa..down down down!

I have been watching my Alexa rating go down down down and am loving it. I remember over the past summer when I first had put that little widget on my site. My rating then was about six million and something. Can you imagine? Then again I had no clue before then that all I had to do was put the widget on my site and it would count the people and improve my rating. Very confusing. Since I put it on my site though I have seen it go down and up and back down again. Sometimes it has been frustrating watching it and not knowing exactly how it works. Then again it has been super exciting to see it going down to smaller numbers. So, now I sit under 200k and although for some that is a lot higher than their own, for me it is pretty awesome.

Alexa rating is weird

I have noticed a weird trend with my Alexa rating. The more hits I receive, the higher my Alexa rating goes up. The less hits I receive the lower it drops. Why is this? It will drop steadily if I receive 30-40 hits a day but once my site goes over that then it begins to get higher. Hmm...I thought it was just my imagination for awhile but then I have begun getting more hits (dropping entrecards baby!) and it went back up to 800k! I was at 600k last week! Grr! Does anyone have any idea what goes on with it? I'm out of ideas!
