Get Smart
Jamie wants to start going to the movie theaters about once a month. Of course that is only if there is something that we want to see playing. The movie that we want to see next is Get Smart. It looks really funny and I love Dwayne Johnson as well as Steve Carrall. I can't wait to see it and hope we do go. It comes out on the 20th so I hope we can do it!
The Strangers

Over the past week or so I have been watching a lot of movies. I am going on a movie kick for some reason but that's okay. I get more work done while I watch a movie than anything else. So, over the weekend I watched The Strangers.
The Strangers was said to be one of the most frightening movies in awhile. It started off with a young couple played by Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman arriving home late at night. Both visibly upset from some prior events in which you never really see anything but bits and pieces of it. Enough to fill in the blanks. Soon after arriving at the mans parents house begins the events. A young woman comes to the door asking for a person that didn't live there. Then things began to happen such as items becoming missing, noises from outside, and all that jazz.
The basic jest of the story is, is that even if your doors are locked and you feel safe in your own home you truly are not safe. Unfortunately, I found this movie to be totally and utterly boring. It starting quite abruptly and ended the same. It was very predictable and not scary in the least to me. The creepiest thing about this movie was the masks on the face of the people.
If you went and paid money to see this movie I am truly sorry! This is definitely not a movie I will be watching again!

National Treasure: Book of Secrets

National Treasure really opened a new door for people. It gave you a look into American History that you already knew about but might not have thought too hard of. It brought you the "behind" the story. It was not all fun and glory and sometimes there was more to it than meets the eye.
National Treasure: Book of Secrets was the same way. True to its form it offered you the history as well as the action that the first movie had. The cast was all the same as the last movie which was a nice thing to see. Nicholas Cage was as good as ever. The movie wasted no time in getting into the history aspect of the movie and brought you to locations that are quite familiar. The locations were the Oval Office as well as the Queens office and even took us into a secret area under the White House.
Not much can be said about the storyline without giving much away but I will say this, it similarly follows the first movie. Not being disappointed by watching it though, I had a blast and even learned a few things. If you liked the first movie you will definitely enjoy this one.
