Christmas is coming..start saving!

Christmas is three months away! I know it seems like a really long time away but there is actually things that I want this year. This is the first time that I have actually wanted something. I don't know if I'll be able to get this KitchenAide mixer but it is at the tip top of my list of things I want. It's $200 and in white. The colored ones drive the prices up crazily. I wouldn't mind having a colored one though. I was going to save to get a Sunbeam one but money needed to go elsewhere of course. So, this is at the top of my Christmas list! I'm giving fair warning!

More hurricanes

When I went to check the weather out today I noticed that there is a lot more tropical storms and even perhaps another hurricane going to hit Florida and those areas. Tell me why anyone would want to live in Florida? They are constantly hit with hurricanes and tropical storms that are horrible. They cause a lot of destruction and just are not pleasant in the least. Why you would want to live in a place like that is beyond me. I just hope everyone is alright during it.

Coltons birthday

My little brother, Colton, turns 15 (I believe..eek!) on September 8th (which is also my anniversary but we don't celebrate it on the 8th). This year I am going to try to make a cake using fondant. Marshmallow Fondant to be exact. I guess all you do is melt marshmallows and combine it with water. I have to re-read how to do it exactly. I am going to make it a chocolate cake though. I actually can't wait since I am going to decorate it and everything. Hoping it turns out pretty decent!

Anyone have any experience with marshmallow fondant?
