Who watched the Britney special?

Did anyone watch the Britney Spears special on last night? You know I did! I love Britney! I thought it was an interesting show with her and I really liked it. I especially liked some of the things in there where she was being recorded for the show and I had read about it on her site and some others before. It was interesting her take on things. I didn't buy some of the things she said like about shaving her head, but that's okay. I loved her kitchen in the beginning! My goodness! The kitchen faucets were gorgeous and the color of her cabinets also! Ugh! I also can't wait to see her new video for Circus.

When I was young

When I was younger and it was around the holidays there used to be a whole bunch of different cartoon shows and different shows that would come on. It was like clockwork. It is Halloween? Get ready for Garfield to come on! Christmas? Get ready for Charlie Brown, Rudolph, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and all the other shows to start playing. I remember not being able to wait for them to come on.

It kind of makes me sad to think that when I have kids and they are old enough to watch and appreciate these types of shows that they will not be on for them to watch. So having this thought and wanting to watch them myself I went over to some websites to see what I could find. I found the Peanuts-Holiday Collection on sale at Buy.com. It has all of the holiday shows that I grew up with. This is definitely a DVD that I would love to get. It is only $30 at Buy.com which to me is a deal. The episodes that come with this are It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown; A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving; and A Charlie Brown Christmas! You have something for every holiday.

Gossip Girl & Prison Break tonight!

I'm so silly sometimes. I base my days off of what is on TV for that night. Gossip Girl on tonight? Ah yes it's Monday! 90210? Tuesday! Wednesday? America's Top Model! Any other day? I couldn't even tell you. So today although it being Monday has turned out to not be so bad. Of course it isn't over yet. We had some rain today. It started pouring and of course we were at the store when it happened. When the rain subsided our outside cat Teeny came to the window drenched and then I looked down and there was one of her kittens looking utterly pathetic as wet as he was. I went outside and dried him and Teeny off and went to look for the other kitten. When he finally came out he was dry as can be. Go figure!
