I think it is safe to say now that I am in love. With who you ask? Not with who, but with what! The what is my Misikko flat irons which has become my new hair love. I used to have a $20 flat iron that used to pull my hair out and I would have to send it through my hair at least ten to twenty times in order for it to flatten out. My hair is normally very wavy and if I do not send a flat iron through it, it is frizzy and horribly unmanageable.

This TurboIon The Croc Flat Iron which is 1 1/2" wide is perfect! It gets really hot! Up to 420 degrees. It reaches that temperature within about a minute. It is shown on the handle of the flat iron in a blue digital number. I love this because you know exactly how hot it is and if it is your desired temperature. If you do not want it that hot then you can just drop it down by the press of a button. The handle is really comfortable when I hold it. The cord at the very end has a swivel thing which makes it easier for it not to get tangled up.

This flat iron does not pull my hair out which is a major plus. I also found out that I did not have to pull down on my hair like my previous flat iron which meant that my scalp did not hurt. Let me tell you, this flat iron left my hair soft, and flat as I always wanted it! My hair stayed straight even when snow fell on it!! I couldn't believe that!

If you need to replace your flat iron I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend you get a Misikko Flat Iron! They are definitely worth it!!

My hair is very long, very thick, pretty wavy, and very hard to find a shampoo that makes it do what I want and manageable. Spring is almost here and getting into a bathing suit is definitely a no no for me. So, I have been looking for a new exercise routine for me to do. Something that is relaxing. I may have found just that in a yoga dvd that I was given. Real Bodywork has a set of yoga dvds that range from beginners to intermediate. I got the one which is in the middle. For gentle/intermediate users. I loved the relaxing settings and the instructions that are given while doing this work out video. The exercises did not feel like exercises but I felt it the next day. I rather loved doing this in the morning and starting the day out with some yoga. If you are struggling with your weight like I am, then try new things and find your preferred work out. Yoga is good for all exercise levels and Real bodywork Yoga dvds is for all levels.
