Poor little Duncan, he’s teething. Or so we suspect anyway from the large amount of drool, swollen gums, irritability, lack of sleeping, and just being miserable. I spent all last night just holding him because that is the only way that he would sleep. Poor thing. He was sure paying for it today because he was so tired and quiet.

He didn’t even laugh much today. That is so unlike him. Tonight has been a lot better. Just the fact that I’m up and on my computer can testify for that. I thought we were heading in the same direction as last night until the poor guy passed out. Now he’s sawing logs and I got to get up and stretch!

I just hope these teeth pop out of there quickly and he’s out of the pain that he’s in. It’s horrible.

Tomorrow, if he gets a good nights sleep, we’re going to see Santa!

This year I am so excited to have Duncan sit on Santa’s lap. I looked at some prices for other malls and then I wasn’t so excited. I mean, really? $17 for one 5×7 photo? That’s insane!

Well, Shaina told me that Santa is at Walmart and they take the picture for free and it is also a 5×7 photo. Guess where we’re going to get Duncan’s picture taken with Santa? Walmart is right!

I remember them doing it about five years ago but didn’t think anything of it after that. She’s going to find out the hours he’s there and tell me and then we’re going to see Santa Claus!

In the car

Sometimes I just can’t stand how cute this kid is.

And the tongue? Always out! Always!

Well it’s been a couple days since T-Day and now I can feel like I can unstuff and recap.

It was a lot of fun as usual. We had to have dinner a little early. So early in fact, that it was just called lunch. We ate around 1pm because my sister had to leave for work around 5pm. Truth be told, I kind of enjoyed having it as a lunch instead of a dinner. There was plenty of time for the food to just sit there and then I was able to actually feel hungry after. That is instead of the normal feeling like a fat cow that just needs to eat and sleep.

Duncan's 1st Thanksgiving

Duncan quite enjoyed his first Thanksgiving. He had a little bit of turkey and a taste of the cranberry sauce. I don’t think he actually got any of the turkey into his mouth. Pre-dinner/lunch he nomed on his measuring cup.

Duncan's 1st Thanksgiving

You’ll have to try the pre-dinner measuring cup nomming sometime. It’s a must.

Duncan's 1st Thanksgiving

During dinner we had the usual conversation of going around the table and telling what you are thankful for. Which of course, in our family no one can just take it seriously.

However, it did turn to Nick telling us how babies are processed.

That story is for another day. Although, the boys faces were funny.

Don’t mind the background. It’s just Sheetrock and plywood.

The story in one word: Amazing.

Oh, the big wet spot on the table? Yea, we can never just stay too nice for too long!

The spill at the table

There goes all the napkins!

Shaina’s fountain soda cup is classy. We’re all about class around here!

And here’s a couple pictures I thought were cute.

So our Thanksgiving was pretty fun if I do say so myself.

And I do.

On to Christmas! Bring it on December!

All of us

I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

I hope it’s fantastic, warm, and full of fantastic food.
