My husband and I have been figuring out small ways to save money around the house and it’s worked better than I thought it would. I spend a lot of time clipping coupons and even saving cans to take to the recycling place but he’s all about the big picture stuff like cutting back on our utilities and working with the car loan place to get our interest rates down. I found this great show on our direct tv dish network TLC channel about how to coupon really effectively and he bought a book called “Saving Money for Dummies” or something like that and so far we’ve been able to sock away about $350 which is huge for us. I want the goal to be a nice vacation at the end of the year but I guess we’ll have to wait and see how far we get in the coming months. We’re talking a real year, not a calendar year, just in case you were following along!
Education is very important when you are looking for a way to live comfortably. Some people may try to tell you differently or have even gotten away with not getting an education for themselves and have done well. However, do not overestimate what a good education can get you.
It is a well known fact that by getting more education you can increase your chances of a higher paying job than if you had just gone to high school. There are a lot of courses out there that you can benefit from such as ea ethic courses which I believe everyone should take once in their lifetime.
Continuing your education also shows strength, endurance, drive, and especially if you are looking into enrolled agent cpe. I think that at any age you could most definitely get more education, if anything you could always get a refresher course on what you have already taken because there is always something new to be learned in any and every field there is.
There is no losing when it comes to someones education and continuing it shows that you really want better for yourself and your family. So, what are you waiting for?
I have decided that come this new year there is going to be some changes with my websites and how I handle them. I am still going to be updating about the same things but, I think I am going to take my SEO a little more seriously and I am thinking about getting into a seo consulting services and find out how exactly they can help my website be a little more influential and higher up in the web searches.
With this website, it is mainly a catch all for anything that I think about blogging. It is just a place where any thought that I can think of goes and mainly it has turned into a place where I can write about my Sims 3 stories. So, I am sure that any seo consulting services would tell me that that is where my audience would be and that I should focus on that aspect of my blog.
I still would like to get the help of seo consulting services so that I can have them tell me exactly what needs to be done and point me in the correct directions in order for it to get done and my website be the best that it is able to be.
New year, new attitude.
Our house is pretty old. We are talking well over a hundred years old and that means that there are a lot of good things and some bad things about the house. One of the bad things about the house that I am reminded of every single day is that there is absolutely no closets in this place. Not even a coat closet in the front room. I am not kidding. So, this has made us be a little more imaginative with trying to find different ways to create closest areas and not having it be too tacky.
I was looking for some of them the other day really because, well, our one “closet” wall is looking sad. So, I think I have found some good flammable lockers that would work for some things that we have. I also like that the flammable cabinets would be hard for Duncan to get into while protecting the items we put in there.
Sure, you could not hang your clothes up in the flammable locker but flammable cabinet storage would be pretty neat to have and may even save your items if a fire should break out in your home. Let’s hope we don’t have to find out.
Jamie and I have a dream that some day we will be able to afford a nice big piece of property and we would be able to build a nice house on there but, that is not all. Within this big piece of land we would like it so that all the members of the family members that want to, would be able to also build their homes on there too.
So, this leaves to the imagination on what to do about certain aspects of everyday life. Naturally, it would be like a cul-de-sac type situation and I want things to be easy for everyone. Someone going out of town for a bit? How would you make it easy to say…pick up their mail? Simple when you get an efficient mail system going. That system would entail getting a florence mailboxes. It would definitely help things out if you got something like auth florence since there is a bunch of boxes in one station.
I am also sure by having cluster mailboxes that your mail person that delivers way out there would appreciate you just a tad bit more instead of having to go to all the different houses, they need only stop off at the one box. I think it would be kind of cool to have those mailboxes in a family cul-de-sac.
