I have been a bit missing in action as of lately but, with really good reasons. Well, first of all we had a ton of appointments for Duncan. Then we also had the holidays that came up. You know everyone is busy during those times. Finally on the 30th we left to come to Australia. Yep, I’m a foreigner now in Australia.
We came out here to visit with Jamie’s family for awhile. Finally getting to meet them and them meet Duncan. We’ve been here for about four days now and we’re getting settled a bit. So, there you have it.

My husband and I have been figuring out small ways to save money around the house and it’s worked better than I thought it would. I spend a lot of time clipping coupons and even saving cans to take to the recycling place but he’s all about the big picture stuff like cutting back on our utilities and working with the car loan place to get our interest rates down. I found this great show on our direct tv dish network TLC channel about how to coupon really effectively and he bought a book called “Saving Money for Dummies” or something like that and so far we’ve been able to sock away about $350 which is huge for us. I want the goal to be a nice vacation at the end of the year but I guess we’ll have to wait and see how far we get in the coming months. We’re talking a real year, not a calendar year, just in case you were following along!

No one has uploaded their videos yet, so you have a pretty good chance at winning! You can upload your video from your webcam or even a phone, they’ve made it totally easy to do. They say anything goes in the video so make it as fun as you can!
There is also a second sweepstakes that is going on for a random registered user to get picked from a random drawing and win a $200 gift card. The contest period is from 12/5/11 at 12pm to 1/31/12 12pm. How weird is it to type the year 2012, by the way? So weird. Anyway, you have plenty of time to get your video up there. So, go visit the PMC site, register and upload your videos to enter the contest. Once your video is up, have your friends, family, and anyone check out your video and vote on it!

I do not wear eyeglasses but, if I did I think that I would try to have a couple special frames that went with the holidays. Maybe not anything too crazy but some solid colors that go with different holidays. For instance, I would totally rock some orange glasses for Halloween and then there is some awesome lenses at Zenni Optical that are yellow, green and red tye dye looking that would be perfect for Christmas. Which, Christmas is coming up if you did not look at the calendar or you live under a rock, or both! If you want to go gander at the frames I am talking about they are number 740729. Seriously, they are awesome.

Pretty nice, right? They are totally festive, what do you think about them? I like them because they are cheap eyeglasses as well. Can’t go wrong with something under thirty dollars.
If I bought these eyeglasses from Zenni Optical, I would save a lot of money and buy Duncan a nice wooden kitchen set for Christmas. He loves playing with the kitchen that Jeremy and him have now but, they both can’t get in there.

I have a lot more of the Waters to post but I just want to say that I have been playing a new Sim in Sims 3 and she is called Carmen Shuler. I have actually played that game so much that she is now an elder with a few children and a husband. I rather like her and have even thrown some more monkeys into the wrench.
I love making new sims though so there will probably be more and more!
