So, I’ve showed you our two trees already. Now, I am going to show you the top of the mantel that my mom worked hard on. I think it came out super cute this year. In fact, I do think it is the cutest that it has ever been. The fact that we are getting sheet rocking done to the room finally makes it stand out even more.
The Santa Claus group really makes it pop with all the gold around it, I think. That is her gold room and most of the decorations in there are gold or have gold in them. Of course, the Santa’s are not gold but they are super cute!
I finally got around to taking pictures of our Christmas trees this morning to share with everyone. I really like our trees this year. We had to buy all new ornaments because we have no clue where the others are and last year we made them out of paper (we didn’t have much money). Anyway, we bought sets that matched this year. The little tree got the gold ornaments while the bigger tree is blue and silver. We didn’t have enough blue and silver to cover it so we threw the gold ones up too. Here is the small one:

So we went to Nick’s Christmas singing program today at his school. We got there 35 minutes early so that we didn’t have to climb all the way up the bleachers and have people sit behind and in front of us poking us in the back with their knees. Last year was kind of bad as people keep kneeing me from the back and the people in front kept moving back into my knees in the front. Anyway, there were a lot of people that piled in about 10 minutes after we got there. We sat in the very front next to some garbage cans. They had a leak from their roof…hey I didn’t mind at all. Anyway, Nick was standing in the back when his class got up to sing so I couldn’t get any good pictures. That and the picture came out really dark for some reason.
Nick is the very top row on the left, 3 one. And what is up with the kids eyes facing the camera on the right? Demon much!
