Lights bring a lot to the party that is your rooms. They can really make a room fantastic as well as make a room look not so good. There are a lot of choices for what kind of lighting you can have in any given room. The type that I am looking at right now is floor lamps.
There are tons of floor lamps that I love and there are a few that just doesn’t fit my taste. One type that I like is basic looking lamps, lamps that complement other furniture in the room and not compete.

Finding things that you can decorate the inside as well as the outside of your house could take time. Decorating this house, my mom has flipped and flopped over a lot of different things she’d like to do as money becomes available.
I know one thing she would like to do is get some decorative planters and have plants at the bottom of the staircase. The staircase is beautiful when it’s polished up really well and so having a planter or two there with one of those big indoor plants would really make the staircase pop.
Another thing that I think she would like to get is some outdoor planters. When the bark is all done up (which every year the weeds grow back with a vengeance) and if we were to have some decorative outdoor planters, it would really make the garden pop!
Plants are a fantastic way to make a house feel more inviting. However, when the cold winter months hit, so do the death of plants in this house! It’s a shame! So, fake plants is what she’ll have to look for!
I decided that tomorrow I am going to go down and clean the downstairs area and mom is going to pull the Christmas decorations and tomorrow will be the day for Christmas decorating.
Hey, it’s almost December and it is time to get this holiday cheer into gear! Christmas is my favorite holiday to decorate, the gifts, the baking, the songs! The altogether cheerful way people are in and the people that aren’t, screw them!
I am hoping that tomorrow we can get both the trees up and decorated as well because that is what really makes Christmas what it is.
Hopefully most of it gets done so we can get some pictures!
