We’ve decided that we don’t spend enough time doing fun things together as a whole family. So bowling was one of the things at the top of the list to do. Unfortunately, at the last minute Trevor got asked to do some work so he wasn’t able to make it.
We still had a total blast and the bowling alley was empty. Which is weird since it was a Saturday.
The shoes were awesome, of course everyone looked totally stupid in them. What else are bowling shoes for?
I know they aren’t for those that are into fashion 24/7! I liked mine. They were pretty neat.
After everyone picked their chosen bowls of course you have to place them on the ball thingie.
Please note: I bowl so awesome I make up my own term for these things. You may seem there throughout the post.
As you were!
I noticed that Mom has the ability to never take a good picture if her face is anywhere near the camera. For some reason, even when she has no idea you’re taking a picture, she always ends up with her eyes shut.

Very odd. Odd indeed. You see how empty the place was? That’s the best. Okay, stop getting off topic! Mom! Now, even though she can’t seem to take a picture, she can bowl like no one’s business!
I think the praying to her ball helped. She said she was lining it up. I say it’s praying!
You can also see that the scores are on a LCD mounted from the wall. I thought that was pretty neat. Of course, the last time I went bowling was when I was super young and I sure don’t remember the screens!
Nick had only been bowling with his Dad once before I think it was. So Jamie was trying to give him so pointers.
What are brother in laws for?
Now let’s go on to the subject of this one:
She’s smiling now! Why? I think at that point she was doing pretty well. It slowly went downhill from there. Then she sucked…bad! She was so bad that she should’ve had bumpers on the lane.
She resorted to everything to not get a gutter ball!
Sitting:
Even laying:
She was just meant to have a bad game..or two!
All in all it was a blast! We’re doing it again next month and this time Trevor is going to go. Or so he says now! He better!
I loved bowling. It was pretty cheap, fun, had food and drinks, and it was with the family.
That’s what really counts, isn’t it? At the end of the day, if you don’t spend time with your family and have fun then what good is it?
