I need a cookbook. I need to find my cookbook. The one that mom got me for Christmas last year. The Paula Dean cookbook to be exact. I wanted to look through it so that I can find something to cook for Thanksgiving from it. Yes, it is a Christmas cookbook but I am sure the recipes won’t mind being used for another holiday.
Now, if only I had my own big red easy button I would be able to find it in my room. Unfortunately, I don’t have that easy button and I can’t remember where I moved it to when I cleaned off the magazines and cookbooks from my desk! So disheartening! However, I do have about a week until we’ll be going Thanksgiving food shopping. Maybe I’ll find it by then.
Until then, I’ll have to use the internet. Oh the trusty internet. Now I can surf you while laying in bed again. Jamie got the laptop to semi work by switching out the batteries and not charging them all the way. This poor thing. I wish I hadn’t left that cup of coffee near it that fateful day. Alas, I can’t take it back and we can only move forward. I’m just thankful we can get some use out of it again. It makes the money we spent on it not seem so bad.
Now, it isn’t an $800 paperweight! Hooray! Still, why can’t it find my cookbook for me?
Well, as you may have noticed I wasn’t around the website very much this weekend. We actually went out shopping on Saturday and on Sunday I just hung out and took a break. Saturday was a lot of fun! We only went to Bluffton and we didn’t end up getting Jamie’s computer. That kind of bummed me out a bit and I think Jamie. The problem was, the man that he was buying it from never wrote him back a price as to what the computer was going to be. What kind of business man doesn’t give you a price? He must not have wanted the money much. Anyway, we ended up going to Wal-mart and Lowes. We actually went to Wal-mart twice because there was a bed set that I wanted to buy. We ended up getting a different one which I love! It is a chocolate brown and just gorgeous.
When we got home Jamie made the bed frame. It went really fast too, I love it.
So, today we went back to Wal-mart. Why? To get my shiny new laptop!!! I KNOW! I can’t believe we actually got it! In fact, this is my first blog post from the laptop! I am stoked and love it so far. I love being on the bed! Of course this is Jamie and my laptop but I get to enjoy most of it. Yay for dropping Entrecards and blogging in bed!
