Well, since I had all of no time yesterday to get a thankful post in, I am going to combine two days in one! So I better make it good!
Well, for day three I will have to say that I am thankful for my entire family. The family that lives with us and the family that doesn’t. Without family you are really can’t enjoy life. Sure you can go on living and all that but what do you have for the holidays, what do you have for every day? Who are you going to celebrate the good times with and lean on for the bad times?
As a family, we’ve gone through plenty of both!
Day three is out of the way, now for day four I am thankful to my furbabies.
Ruby – German Shepherd/Malamute
Trinity – Misunderstood.
Lollipop – Basement cat.
So, I am thankful for my current furbabies as well as the babies that have passed on. They all bring something special to my life.
Lollipop is one out of two of the last kittens we have of our dear adopted cat Fancy whom one day left our house.
I think I know her fate which is horrible. She showed up at our door one day when we first moved here and never left.
I think she came back in the form of another cat who recently did the same thing. Pictures of her coming soon enough.
Back to Lolli! She is very photogenic, this one. She loves taking pictures, getting her belly rubbed, and sleeping under the covers with us in winter. She also likes beating up on the dogs when they step out of line and drinking out of the fish tank even though she has water in her bowl.
She has her faults but look at her. She’s gorgeous and I think she knows it.
My cat Lolli (or Lollipop as I call her) loves laundry day. I don’t know what it is with this cat but whenever I come in with a basket of clean laundry, throw it on the bed, she pops up out of nowhere to “help” me out. This time her help came in the form of getting into the basket while I was putting the clothes up. I’m actually surprised that I got to take this picture of her because whenever the camera comes on she runs to sit in front of it. I kid you not! So then I started taking pictures of her being a ham. I figured people would rather look at pictures of her than condo hotels!
The other day I was playing with our camera and trying to get some good pictures of one of my cats, Lolly (lollipop). This one turned out pretty good I think. She is a really sweet cat and pretty much lives in my bedroom. She doesn’t like going out of the room unless everyone else leaves it and is really weary of the downstairs. I don’t know why she’s like this when her sisters (whom have new homes) used to run wild down there. Not her, she’s content just laying around on my bed, chair, lap, or where ever else she can lay and swatting at the dogs or getting them into trouble. Hopefully I can get some better pictures of her soon.
