Well it’s been a couple days since T-Day and now I can feel like I can unstuff and recap.

It was a lot of fun as usual. We had to have dinner a little early. So early in fact, that it was just called lunch. We ate around 1pm because my sister had to leave for work around 5pm. Truth be told, I kind of enjoyed having it as a lunch instead of a dinner. There was plenty of time for the food to just sit there and then I was able to actually feel hungry after. That is instead of the normal feeling like a fat cow that just needs to eat and sleep.

Duncan's 1st Thanksgiving

Duncan quite enjoyed his first Thanksgiving. He had a little bit of turkey and a taste of the cranberry sauce. I don’t think he actually got any of the turkey into his mouth. Pre-dinner/lunch he nomed on his measuring cup.

You’ll have to try the pre-dinner measuring cup nomming sometime. It’s a must.

During dinner we had the usual conversation of going around the table and telling what you are thankful for. Which of course, in our family no one can just take it seriously.

However, it did turn to Nick telling us how babies are processed.

That story is for another day. Although, the boys faces were funny.

Don’t mind the background. It’s just Sheetrock and plywood.

The story in one word: Amazing.

Oh, the big wet spot on the table? Yea, we can never just stay too nice for too long!

There goes all the napkins!

Shaina’s fountain soda cup is classy. We’re all about class around here!

And here’s a couple pictures I thought were cute.

So our Thanksgiving was pretty fun if I do say so myself.

And I do.

On to Christmas! Bring it on December!

All of us

I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving from my family to yours!

I hope it’s fantastic, warm, and full of fantastic food.

I’m horrible at the number of days I’ve missed so I’m going to stop counting them.

I have no excuse. Well, I do but, I won’t use him!

Why I’m thankful: Smiles.

Reading something good

Day 8. Can you believe it? Where does the time go and, why is it going by so quickly?

Now, what am I thankful for today? Oh yes, sleeping babies.

Without sleeping babies I could not see this:

Day seven of this challenge and can I just add that it is gorgeous weather out right now? Stunning! I love it!

That wasn’t my thanks for the day though! This one is a little silly.

I’m sure other moms and dads have done this.

I am thankful for the ability to make up new diaper changing rules with every single poopie diaper that is made in my presence.

You know the rules that you make to get out of changing the diaper that has no become a crime scene? Ahh, yes. I always seem to be the one doing it.

He was looking at you while he did it, so you have to change him.

He’s closer to you that means he wants you to change his butt.

How many have you changed today? Oh, well I’ve changed (insert number that’s higher than his, even if it’s not the truth because let’s face it, it rarely is)!

The rules of getting out of changing the poopie diaper.

Sadly, I have no one to pass a rule off on right now. I have to go tackle this scene head on.

If you don’t hear from me in a couple days, send help!
